
Former collegiate goalkeeper and experienced goalkeeper coach, Andrea Dorella brings over seven years of private goalkeeper training and player development experience to Numero Uno Goalkeeping Academy as both a founder and coach.
Originally from Italy, Andrea developed in the academy system of Treviso FC before continuing his playing career in the United States at MidAmerica Nazarene University and later at Rockhurst University. Andrea began coaching during his sophomore year while continuing to compete at the collegiate level, combining high-level playing experience with a strong passion for goalkeeper development.
Since then, he has worked with goalkeepers across academy, club, and collegiate environments, helping athletes improve their technical ability, confidence, decision-making, and overall understanding of the position. Alongside coaching within collegiate programs such as Rockhurst University and MidAmerica Nazarene University, Andrea has also worked with the goalkeepers at Sunflower State FC while privately training academy goalkeepers, players involved in U.S. Youth National Team environments, and athletes competing at high-level college programs such as NC State.
Driven by a passion for goalkeeper development, Andrea founded Numero Uno Goalkeeping Academy to recreate a professional training environment fully dedicated to the growth of goalkeepers. His coaching philosophy focuses on the technical, tactical, and mental aspects of the position through detailed instruction, purposeful repetition, game-realistic training, and individualized coaching.
With extensive playing and coaching experience, Andrea is committed to helping goalkeepers of all levels maximize their potential and perform with confidence in real game situations.

Former collegiate goalkeeper and experienced goalkeeper coach, Juan Manuel Arias brings a diverse background in high-level playing and player development to Numero Uno Goalkeeping Academy as both a partner and coach. Known for his competitive mentality and detailed coaching approach, Juan focuses on helping goalkeepers develop confidence, consistency, and strong decision-making in game situations.
Originally from Argentina and born in Brazil, Juan played academy soccer with Club Atlético Temperley before continuing his collegiate career in the United States at Feather River College, University of the Southwest, and MidAmerica Nazarene University.
As a collegiate coach, Juan served as a Goalkeeper Coach and Graduate Assistant at both Oklahoma Christian University and MidAmerica Nazarene University, helping develop goalkeepers and contributing to successful team performances at both programs. During his time at Oklahoma Christian, the program improved from a one-win season to 11 wins and reached the conference tournament for the first time in the school’s NCAA Division II era.
At MidAmerica Nazarene, Juan was part of the coaching staff that won the 2023 NAIA National Championship while helping guide the development of nationally recognized goalkeepers.
In addition to his collegiate experience, Juan has coached youth goalkeepers and field players across multiple competitive levels, focusing on technical detail, tactical understanding, confidence building, and decision-making.
His coaching philosophy centers around creating individualized training environments that help players translate training habits into confident game performance.
